“Crowdfunding Creative Projects” on April 24, 2018
**Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are cancelling the workshop and hope to reschedule it at a future date. We hope your interest in our Professional Development Seminars will continue.**
The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present a professional development seminar for artists and other creative people on Tuesday, April 24, from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Emporium Center in downtown Knoxville. Join us as we welcome Dale Mackey!
Dale Mackey will discuss strategies and platforms for artists interesting in using crowdfunding to fund creative projects.
Originally from Chicago, Dale Mackey moved to Knoxville in 2008 and plans to stay for a very long time. In 2012, she started Dale’s Fried Pies, selling from-scratch sweet and savory hand pies. More recently, she and her husband, Shawn Poynter co-founded The Central Collective, a mixed-use creative space in North Knoxville which hosts creative workshops and events, and also features a photo studio, event space and community kitchen. Mackey also enjoys writing, theatre and multimedia work.
