ORCMA’s 2023 Summer Strings Camp

Mon-Fri Jun 5-9, 9 AM – 12 PM daily

Who: Rising 5th–9th grade students playing violin, viola, cello, or string bass.

What: ORCMA’s 2023 Summer Strings Camp — A fun and educational week learning and experiencing music!

During the week, students will:
· Receive snacks daily
· Receive a daily private lesson by a professional musician
· Participate in a small or large ensemble
· Learn music theory basics
· Acquire critical listening skills
· Participate in a finale performance

A special guest each day will engage students in the exploration of various music careers. A special performance and pizza party will close the camp.
Where: Oak Ridge location TBA

Previous Experience: School orchestra class is preferred, but no previous experience or instrument is required. An instrument can be provided.
