Oak Ridge Civic Ballet Association: Summer Dance Camp

Camp hours are 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: with drop off starting at 8:30 and pick up at 2:00. Aftercare is available for an additional fee,  payable each morning at drop off.

We’re BACK for our 11th year! Classes are given in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, stomp, and musical theater! The campers will start the day off with a camp-wide warm up, break off into groups to learn about a specific style, learn a piece of choreography to showcase their skills to the parents, and participate in a master class towards the end of the day. The Master class is a great opportunity for the campers to take class with guest teachers such as Sharon Cousins, ORCBA’s Assistant Director. You don’t have to be a prima ballerina for this camp, just come ready to move and to have fun!

Our camp is geared for rising kindergartners through 8th grade. Cost is $90. Lunch, snacks, and water are all provided. No special dancewear or dance shoes are necessary for this camp. Campers should wear sneakers and clothing that allows them to move easily.
