Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: Timeless Romance: Swan Lake & More
Part of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series, which marks the KSO’s 83rd season.
The KSO’s Masterworks Series offers a night of romance with Aram Demirjian and the KSO. The lineup begins with Frederick Delius’ musical dramatization of Shakespeare’s beloved tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. The romantic sentimentality of the night continues as the Appalachian Ballet Company is featured in a performance of the ballet suite from El Amor Brujo (Love, the Magician). The evening concludes with Swan Lake: A Symphonic Synthesis by Tchaikovsky.
