Knoxville Community Media presents: Zine Making Workshop

An intensive study of zine history, creative thought, storytelling, photo composition, and magazine layout. Class is limited to 5 participants. Class instructor Stephanie De La Rua-Cisneros is a photographer whose distinctive style merges street photography with recurring themes, drawing inspiration from her fascination with neo-gothic surroundings, and ceremonial religious aesthetics. After several years between New York and Los Angeles, she is embracing a spirit of adventure and exploration and finds herself drawn to enchanting new landscapes and capturing unfamiliar places of Knoxville, Tennessee. She self published her first zine ‘the sacred and the profane’ in 2019.
