The program features popular favorites and intriguing rarities from 10 oratorios and operas by the beloved composer of Messiah, Georg Friedrich Händel including spectacular trumpet-blazing selections from Samson, Rinaldo, and Judas Maccabaeus.

This concert marks the Knoxville debuts of Metropolitan Opera mezzosoprano Renée Tatum and internationally renowned stage and recording artist bass Curtis Streetman. Returning after many concerts with the Ensemble are soprano Abigail Santos Villalobos who starred in the world premiere of El Pasado Se Nunca Termina with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, and San Diego Opera, and Chicago tenor Aaron Short. Also participating are the newly formed Knoxville Symphony Youth Choir and the St. John Neumann Catholic School Choir.

Reservations are not needed. At this time, and subject to change, there are no COVID restrictions. For further information, please contact Diana Salesky at bachdouble56@gmail.com.
